I love your guitar phip. Before I started playing I was working on the road about 200 miles from home and to cut down on expenses I was staying in a camper right on the job site. Our inspector was in a country/blue grass band and he invited me to come to his house one night and watch his band practise.

There main guitar player had an old Martin guitar and it was the ugliest thing I have ever seen. It looked like willie nelson's guitar, had a hole wore in it right below the high E string from years of having the pick slide across it, it was discolored and just a horrible looking guitar.

I asked him about it and he said he bought it off ebay a few years before and gave $1500 for it the way it was.

It looked horrible but to this day I haven't heard a better sounding guitar.

I also have an EPI Special II but I'm not too impressed with this guitar (should have saved up and spent a few extra bucks)

Nice, I got an SR-16 drum machine also.  I paid some series bucks for it along time ago.  Anymore I just use it as a glorified drum machine but used to use a ton.

I was never impressed with the entry level epiphones.  the mid to higher level ones are really pretty nice
