picked up my guitar finally

well i just wanted to brag on myself a tiny bit since i think for not having done any picking in a long time i actually did ok last night when i finally picked up my guitar.

i am that guy that has been kinda lurking around the guitar sites but hasn't really gotten any better from lack of dedication. But i am in no rush i will be able to play a full song whenever it happens. And the people i have meet have been really kewl.

If i remember right you have several...what guitar did you pick up?

If you want some easy songs try Nirvana's Pennyroyal Tea.  I cut my teen on nirvana and will allwasy have a place in my heart for them.  Even if it's not your thing, most of the songs are pretty easy and not real complicated.

i picked up the dot.  and i kinda strum away at  bad moon rising by CCR, newest chord progression i picked up is  a bit of main street by bob seger.

Man I LOVE CCR! I remember cruisin' when "have you ever seen the rain" first came on the radio. Also have a friend who was at one of their concerts and ended up on the "pendulum" album cover!
